Residence through Expression of interest
Expression of interest or manifestação de interesse is another way of obtaining residency in Portugal. There are two articles under this category article 88 and article 89.2.
Article 88 is for candidates who have a Portuguese job contract and the employer is paying regular social contribution and taxes for the employee.
Article 89.2 is for candidates who work as freelancers in Portugal on the basis of activity (actividade)
